Are you looking for a dissertation or a thesis?
The FGCU Library now subscribes to Dissertations and Theses: Full Text!
Many people find dissertations and theses useful for their research. The topics are thoroughly researched, and the content is usually more specialized than what you would find in other published sources. Graduate students may find these especially useful as they are working on their own thesis or dissertation and want to view other examples.
ProQuest’s Dissertations and Theses database contains citations and abstracts for more than 2 million doctoral dissertations and master’s theses. Full text is available for many of these, including most published after 1997. All subject areas are covered. It also includes FGCU dissertations and theses published in 2013 and later.
Here’s how to access Dissertations and Theses from any computer:
- Go to http://library.fgcu.edu/
- Select Databases
- Select “D” in the A-Z list
- Select “Dissertations and Theses: Full Text (ProQuest)”
- You will be asked to type your 14 digit FGCU ID# if you are connecting off campus
