Feature Films Now Available Online

Are you working on watching all of the American Film Institute’s Top 100 movies of all time? Just need a break from studying and want to watch a movie? FGCU Library has added a collection of 300 feature films to our online streaming offerings.

Swank Digital Campus contains Hollywood productions, big name documentaries, and award-winning foreign films. We have selected titles that span from classics like Casablanca, Dr. Strangelove, and Citizen Kane to newer titles like The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight Rises. The collection includes many literary adaptations, such as The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, Sense and Sensibility, and more Hamlets than you can shake a stick at (okay, just four versions, but still a lot). We have chosen documentaries like Super Size Me and Blackfish and a ton of critically acclaimed films like The Godfather, Laurence of Arabia, Schindler’s List, and Vertigo.

FGCU students, staff, and faculty have access to this movie collection from anywhere with your FGCU ID number. You can navigate to this collection and other collections of streaming films by clicking on the “Video Collections” link right on our library home page under the “Books, Articles, and More” heading. Swank digital films are licensed for personal and educational use and cannot be used in public performances. If you have questions about the use of films from the Swank Digital Campus collection, please contact the Reference, Research, and Instruction department at libref@fgcu.edu.
