Congratulations to Dr. Peter Blaze Corcoran and Brandon Hollingshead, our 32nd honorees in the FGCU Author Series of recently published books authored or edited by FGCU faculty and staff. Their book, Intergenerational Learning and Transformative Leadership for Sustainable Futures, will be featured on the Library website during the month of February and displayed on a poster on the first floor of Library West in the FGCU Authors and New Books area.
Dr. Peter Blaze Corcoran is a Professor of Environmental Studies and Environmental Education at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he serves as Director of the Center for Environmental and Sustainability Education.
Brandon Hollingshead is an instructor in the Department of Communication and Philosophy and teaches interdisciplinary studies courses on civic engagement, humanities, the environment and sustainability, and social issues. He is also an associate in FGCU’s Center for Environmental and Sustainability Education.
Intergenerational Learning and Transformative Leadership for Sustainable Futures is the most recent of many books edited by Dr. Corcoran on the topic of sustainability and is the third collaborative publication from Dr. Corcoran and Mr. Hollingshead. The FGCU Library also has previous works edited by both faculty members.
Each month a recent book authored by FGCU staff or faculty is selected and placed on display with an accompanying poster on the first floor of Library West in the FGCU Authors and New Books area. The author and book are also featured on the Library’s website, news blog, and Facebook page. FGCU faculty and staff are encouraged to notify the relevant subject specialist librarian if they publish a book.
