Edward T. Wimberley, Ph.D.: April 2016 FGCU Author Series Nominee

Congratulations to Dr. Edward T. Wimberley, our 34th honoree in the FGCU Author Series of recently published books authored or edited by FGCU faculty and staff. Dr. Wimberley’s book Ecopragmatics will be featured on the Library website during the month of April and displayed on a poster on the first floor of Library West in the FGCU Authors and New Books area.
Edward T. “Terry” Wimberley, Ph.D., is professor of ecological studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. Dr. Wimberley is a native of North Florida. He holds a B.A. in psychology, an M.Div. as an ordained Presbyterian minister, an M.S.W., and a Ph.D. in public affairs. He is the author of more than 40 articles and three books. His book Nested Ecology: The Place of Humans in the Ecological Hierarchy is also available in the FGCU Library. His ecological scholarship has been directed toward the relationship between religion, spirituality, and ecology. Dr. Wimberley is also the founding Dean of the former College of Professional Studies and the College of Education at FGCU.
