Melodie Eichbauer, Ph.D: February 2019 FGCU Author Series Nominee

Congratulations to Melodie Eichbauer, our 62nd honoree in the FGCU Author Series of recently published books authored or edited by FGCU faculty and staff. Dr. Eichbauer’s book The Use of Canon Law in Ecclesiastical Administration, 1000-1234 (http://fgcu.catalog.fcla.edu/permalink.jsp?25GC036559709) will be featured on the FGCU Library’s digital media channels during February 2019 and displayed on a poster on the first floor of Library West in the FGCU Authors and New Books area.

Melodie Eichbauer is an Associate Professor of Medieval History. Her research centers on legal and ecclesiastical history in the period between 1000 and 1500. She is interested in the development of legal concepts and the intersection between law and socio-political changes.

Each month a recent book authored by FGCU staff or faculty is selected and placed on display with an accompanying poster on the first floor of Library West in the FGCU Authors and New Books area. FGCU faculty and staff are encouraged to notify the relevant subject specialist librarian if they publish a book.
